Thank you God that you love me so much! Amen.”

In the bible it says….

We know that God loves us. We depend on it.

God is love. Anyone who leads a life of love is joined to God. And God is joined to them. NIrV 1 John 4:16

Sunday 14th June, 2020

Dear God, We thank you for Jesus who loves us. We pray for Jan Jan in the Philippines. We pray that he remembers that you love him. Amen

This week we are remembering our friend and sponsor child Jan Jan

Jan Jan lives in the Philippines. Our church is helping Jan Jan go to school and have some food and teach him about Jesus!

Jesus teaches us in the bible to love others.

“I give you a new command. Love one another. You must love one another, just as I have loved you. If you love one another, everyone will know you are my disciples.” John 13:34-35 NIrV

One way we can encourage Jan Jan is by writing him letters, watch this video.

(Parents it’s a little long and may be a bit tricky for our preschoolers)

Craft options:

Please send  your letter for Jan Jan to Minchinbury Anglican Church 86 Rupertswood Road Rooty Hill NSW 2766 or

Also parents please remember to put some sponsorship money in the church bank account so we can keep supporting Jan Jan.

Here’s a video of some children in the Philippines

Filipino kids like to play clapping games maybe you can play pat-a-cake with your preschooler?

Jan Jan likes to play basketball and hide ’n’ seek, maybe you would like to play these games?

16 We know what love is because Jesus Christ gave his life for us. So we should give our lives for our brothers and sisters. 17 Suppose someone sees a brother or sister in need and is able to help them. And suppose that person doesn’t take pity on these needy people. Then how can the love of God be in that person? 18 Dear children, don’t just talk about love. Put your love into action. Then it will truly be love. 1 John 3:16-18 NIrV

Sunday 7th June, 2020

We would like to spend this week at Preschool Kids Church remembering our friends Norm and Janelle Gorrie and pray for them as they tell people in Kenya about Jesus and His good news!

Sunday 31st May, 2020

1. Read this passage with your preschooler, maybe you have a kids bible to read it from.

The Last Supper

7 Then the day of Unleavened Bread came. That was the time the Passover lamb had to be sacrificed. 8 Jesus sent Peter and John on ahead. “Go,” he told them. “Prepare for us to eat the Passover meal.”

9 “Where do you want us to prepare for it?” they asked.

10 Jesus replied, “When you enter the city, a man carrying a jar of water will meet you. Follow him to the house he enters. 11 Then say to the owner of the house, ‘The Teacher asks, “Where is the guest room? Where can I eat the Passover meal with my disciples?” ’ 12 He will show you a large upstairs room with furniture already in it. Prepare for us to eat there.”

13 Peter and John left. They found things just as Jesus had told them. So they prepared the Passover meal.

14 When the hour came, Jesus and his apostles took their places at the table. 15 He said to them, “I have really looked forward to eating this Passover meal with you. I wanted to do this before I suffer. 16 I tell you, I will not eat the Passover meal again until it is celebrated in God’s kingdom.”

17 After Jesus took the cup, he gave thanks. He said, “Take this cup and share it among yourselves. 18 I tell you, I will not drink wine with you again until God’s kingdom comes.”

19 Then Jesus took bread. He gave thanks and broke it. He handed it to them and said, “This is my body. It is given for you. Every time you eat it, do this in memory of me.”

20 In the same way, after the supper he took the cup. He said, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood. It is poured out for you. NIRV Luke 22.

2. Watch the video:

3. Chat about Jesus being the passover lamb. The original passover story is found in Exodus 12 if you wanted to refer back to that in your conversation.

Talk about Jesus telling his disciples to remember Him when they eat bread and drink wine.

4. Play a memory game or collect 5 items with your preschooler. Cover the 5 items under a tea towel then ask everyone to close their eyes and hide one of the items behind your back. Everyone open their eyes and you uncover the remaining items. Can your preschooler remember which item is missing?

5. Pray and give thanks for Jesus dying on the cross and rising again. Pray that we continue to remember Jesus.

6. A fun song to listen to about Jesus!
